We are seeking a Customer Service Advisor for a 3-month temporary position, like to be extended to 6 months. This role involves managing the company switchboard, directing callers to the appropriate service areas, and greeting customers visiting the offices. Familiarity with the 8×8 switchboard system and proficiency in Microsoft Office are highly beneficial for this position.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Operate the switchboard system to answer calls efficiently.
- Direct callers to the relevant service areas within the Council.
- Greet and assist customers visiting the offices, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Triaging and dealing with/redirecting email enquiries
- Handle enquiries and provide information about services offered by the company
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a similar setting.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with the 8×8 switchboard system is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision
